Council planning to redesign Newcastle streetspublished at 11:55 British Summer Time 26 October 2017
A £3m scheme to redesign residential streets for people is being drawn up by Newcastle city council.
Heaton, Jesmond and Fenham could get new junctions and crossings to cater for cyclists and pedestrians.
There could also be more cycle lanes, more yellow lines and fewer parking spaces.
The council are accepting proposals until the end of November.
