    Surrey 415 v Durham 262 & 68-5

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

Durham could be heading for an innings defeat on day three at The Oval. I had a feeling before the day began that things would not go well. Sadly it has played out that way.

The first three batsmen got ducks, albeit two of them were night watchmen. But the other was Ben McKinney, who normally opens. He was one of three victims to fall to Dan Worrall in his first two overs.

Meanwhile, Alex Lees was bowled by Jordan Clark for four, at the end of the 10th over to leave Durham reeling on 18-4.

David Bedingham and debutant Emilio Gay then added 40 for the fifth wicket, but Bedingham fell to a snorter from Sam Curran when on 23. It was at the end of the bowler's first over. It pitched on a length and took off. Bedingham couldn't get out of the way and gloved it behind.
