Many of the works have been in private collections and not on public display for decades, showing his development from an art student in the 1960s to the present day.
Quote MessageIt has been a pleasure to revisit works I made decades ago, including some of my earliest paintings. Many of them seem like old friends to me now."

That's it from me today - but major news, sport, weather and travel updates will continue through the evening and night.
My colleague Elly will be back tomorrow from 06:30 with all the latest for Yorkshire.
Before we go, let's look back at some of our top stories from today:
See you tomorrow.
Do you know this woman? Police investigating a serious assault in Leeds in the early hours of Christmas Eve have just released this picture.
The woman was seen in an argument with a man.
A 37-year-old victim who stepped in to the discussion was then assaulted by the man.
The victim ended up with a broken jaw and required surgery.
It happened in Blayds Yard, in the city centre.
Quote MessageThe CCTV images of this woman are very clear and we are hoping she will recognise herself and contact us or that someone will know who she is.
Det Const Andy Smurthwaite, West Yorkshire Police
A lorry driver, who's in his 70s, has been taken to hospital after a crash on the A1 this afternoon.
It happened at lunchtime on the slip road towards the A59.
The lorry overturned on its side and headed back down the bank towards the main carriageway.
The driver was taken to Leeds General Infirmary by air ambulance with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
A lane is still closed in the area of the crash.
Sheffield City Council's planning to put up council tax bills by nearly 5%.
It includes a 3% rise specifically to pay for social care.
It works out to an increase of around 87p per week for the average home in the city.
The council's got to find extra savings of £40m next year - that's on top of £350m cut in the last six years, and it says it could lose 225 jobs next year too.
Although we don't yet know the specifics of where the cuts will come - it's unlikely to be in older people's care or children's services - so expect most savings to be in culture, leisure and environmental services.
At the end of last week there were great scenes in Tadcaster as the nation's media converged and people could once again travel from one side of the town to the other.
But the work isn't over quite yet.
North Yorkshire County Council's engineers are returning to finish the job, which will mean the bridge will be closed again on Saturday night into Sunday.
Jobs that still need to be done on the bridge include work at the bottom of the bridge and landscaping the river banks.
Quote MessageThe whole nation was able to share last Friday’s wonderful and celebratory occasion and will be remembered in the community for years to come"

The government has set out a series of measures to fix what it calls England's 'broken' housing market.
A million new homes are being promised by 2020, with extra help for first time buyers, and more secure long-term tenancies for those who are renting.
But Labour's Housing spokesman John Healey, MP for Wentworth and Dearne told the Commons there was nothing new :
A university student told a woman to "pretend this never happened" after he raped her at a hall of residence, a court has heard.
Bartholomeo Joly de Lotbiniere, 21, is accused of raping the fellow student at York University in June 2014.
In a video interview played to the city's crown court, the woman said she tried to push him off as he lay on top of her.
Joly de Lotbiniere denies rape and assault by penetration. The case continues.
More than 100 roman coins, dug up in fields around Bradford are going on display at Cliffe Castle Museum.
The coins are more than 1,500-years-old and are Denarii currency which was used around AD 78 during the reign of Emperor Vespian.
They were dug up in 2014 after a few were found by a local detectorist, after that a full scale archaeological dig was arranged to find the rest.
Quote MessageThis is great news for the museum and for the district. We believe this find is part of a much larger find initially made in the 1770s.
Sarah Ferriby, Bradford Council
Families have been moving into newly-built council houses as part of Sheffield City Council’s work to provide an extra 1,000 council homes.
The 51 family homes in Manor and Darnall have been built to the national Lifetime Homes standard and are able to be adapted in future if people need through-floor lifts, downstairs wet-rooms and other mobility aids. They also have solar panels and heat recovery systems to keep running costs down. Eight properties have also been designed specifically for wheelchair users.
The new homes are part of the council’s plans to build or buy 1,000 extra council homes by 2021.
It's York's turn in the spotlight tonight, as the city gets grooving for Our Dancing Town.
