The ceremonial start of the race has got under way with the riders heading over Tadcaster's repaired bridge that was damaged in flooding at Christmas 2015.
Congratulations are continuing to pour in for Lizzie Deignan after her victory in the women's race including this one from fellow cyclist Mark Cavendish.

Things are going on the recently-reopened Tadcaster Bridge, with the riders then heading towards Nidderdale.
The stage just has the one climb, Côte de Lofthouse, but the punishing incline takes riders up to 424m - the highest elevation of the entire tour.
The bunting will be out as the race concludes on the streets of Harrogate, where Mark Cavendish crashed out in spectacular fashion during the first stage of the 2014 Tour de France.
Ahead of stage two the teams have been taking some time to meet the fans in Tadcaster.

Whilst the riders speed through there is still plenty going on in communities all along the stage 2 route.
It all adds to the great atmosphere that surrounds this amazing race.

I have arrived in Tadcaster for the men's race. Found a few interesting sights - perhaps these cyclists have trained a bit too hard!
The men's stage two race follows the same route as the women this morning and is due to get underway in Tadcaster at around 14:00.
Roughly two million people descended on the 2016 race route to watch the action, with this year's event predicted to be just as popular.
Organisers warn starts, finishes and climb locations are likely to be the busiest areas for crowds.
All timings may be subject to change,, external with spectators advised to arrive early.

The women finished in this order:
