Fermanagh and Omagh District Council
The former MP for West Tyrone, Barry McElduff, has been elected to Fermanagh and Omagh District Council.
He resigned as a result of controversy over a Twitter video. He had posted a video of himself in a shop with a loaf of Kingsmill bread on his head.
Speaking shortly before his election, he said: "I've been a year out of the political bubble and have gained a new insight into the world, and I think I'm better equipped to deal with people's challenges, having experienced support myself in a difficult time.
"I've discovered that life presents challenges to every human being. I've learned a lot about the world, a lot about life. And I'd like to use that insight and knowledge to assist people."

DUP leader Arlene Foster says that Alison Bennington, the party's first openly gay elected politician, joined the party because she is a "committed unionist" who wants to work for people.
'We don't exclude members of the gay community'
She also denied claims by Jim Wells that Ms Bennington's election will signal a shift in the party's stance of being against same-sex marriage.

More than two thirds of seats have been declared so far, with a surge at the polls for the Alliance Party. The DUP has seen its vote share increase, but along with Sinn Féin, gambles to win more seats haven't paid off and both have had some disappointment.
Alliance have won seats across Northern Ireland, topping the poll in many areas. The Green Party and People Before Profit have also had a winning weekend.
In the north west, the SDLP have had a good election by getting some new faces into various councils - but in Belfast, it seems more of a mixed bag.
It's been a bad few days for the Ulster Unionist Party though - their vote is down in many areas and they are expected to suffer more political casualties before the end of play.
