Mrs May says that "she has fought Liberal Democrats and nothing about them surprises me".

In an ironic twist, the next MP to be called by Speaker John Bercow is Lib Dem leader Tim Farron, who insists that his party is present and correct and asking the questions that a supine Labour Party was avoiding.

In response to his question about parliamentary scrutiny of Brexit, Mrs May says she has made clear there will be a vote on the final deal.
