    There was also a bittersweet moment when Kai Wood carried the baton in memory of her younger brother Kyle, who died a few days after he was selected to take part in the relay.

    The Queen's Baton Relay will start again tomorrow at 08:25 BST in Duns.

    Stops on the route include Greenlaw, Melrose, Selkirk and Kelso, before the relay concludes in Hawick's High Street.

    Athletes participating in the Borders reflect the significant role rugby has played in the region. Duns Rugby Club coach Peter Gallagher will carry the baton through the town, and Scottish rugby union players both past - Roy Laidlaw - and present - Lee Jones - are set to join in Jedburgh and Selkirk, respectively.

    Once again we'll be covering the relay as it happens, with a live video stream and updates throughout the day.

    Neil volunteers for the charity Over The Wall, which provides life-changing camps for children with serious illnesses. He has also helped the charity raise a considerable amount of money.

    The final baton bearer in Haddington was Joe Forte.

    Joe lives and breathes sport. He has completed more than 20 marathons and does a great deal of sports promotion. He runs a Jogscotland group and marshals the East Lothian section of the Edinburgh marathon. In the words of his nominees, Joe is "excellent ambassador for sport in East Lothian".

    The relay is currently relocating to Musselburgh for the last leg of the relay today.

    It looks like a great evening in Haddington. Charlotte Brown passed the baton to Jodie Lavin as a pipe band played in the background.

    There's a big crowd cheering Jodie on, now that everyone is home from work and school.

    Jodie loves football but is also an excellent boccia player. So good in fact that she won team gold and individual silver medals at last year's Special Olympics in Bath.

    We hope Leon's boss doesn't see this. He wrote: "I have been watching the baton online now all day, should be working, and it's amazing to see the support and amount of people who have turned up!

    Mairi is the CEO of Leuchie House in East Lothian. She was nominated to carry the Queen's baton for her "commitment and extraordinary work with people affected by long-term conditions in Scotland".

    Fifteen-year-old Katrina Maguire was the final baton bearer in Dunbar, where she received a terrific reception from the crowd.

    The relay is now relocating to Haddington. It will resume at about 17:30 BST.

    A Christian youth worker based at Dunbar Primary, Richard mentors vulnerable children and runs a parental support group. He also oversees "The School Run", where children run a mile before school, track the time and attempt to improve their performance each week.

    Jaimie Purves had "an amazing and awesome experience" this morning carrying the Queen's Baton in Prestonpans High Street.

    • For the first time in the history of any relay, all 545 secondary schools in Scotland were invited to nominate a pupil to participate as a baton bearer.

    • The Games will play host to 4,500 athletes and will be aided by an army of up to 15,000 volunteers.
