People are cheering loudly as Tony Segall hands over the baton to June Murray.
The relay sets off again with David Urquhart carrying the baton. It's heading along Edinburgh Road and North High Street towards Bridge Street.
Alex Deakin, from BBC Weather, predicts a generally good day for the relay.
"A sunny start for the Queen's Baton Relay, but increasing cloud in the afternoon will bring a risk of a shower," he says.

The baton started at Murdoch's Green and is now at the seafront, where the relay has paused for photographs.
The baton quickly passed to Betty Steedman-Davidson who has devoted more than 60 years to athletics.
Founder of Musselburgh Athletics Club, she has been a Scottish champion, coach, organiser and official.
Squash player James Gallagher, 64, has taken the baton.
Since retiring he has spent much of his time supporting children and young people wanting to take part in the sport.
He is the chair of East of Scotland and Scottish Squash and secretary for Police Squash.

Dean Reilly has become the first baton bearer in Musselburgh.
He was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2012, after losing the sight in one eye. Since then he has raised awareness of MS and championed the services offered at the MS Therapy Centre which supports Edinburgh and the Lothians.
