The relay started at 08:20 BST with a handover ceremony on the border of Dundee city and Angus
The Queen's Baton Relay will travel throughout Angus, visiting Arbroath, Forfar and Montrose
The baton will stop at Glamis Castle shortly after 1500 BST

Melanie Atkins has managed to juggle being a mum and finding the time to volunteer at several school fitness schemes.
Her passion for tennis and running led to her to coach teams at a variety of levels and she is a passionate champion for the benefits of getting people involved in sport from an early age.

One of today's early runners is Angus man Gilbert Valentine. A well-known face in his in his home town of Newport-on-Tay, Gilbert devotes a lot of his spare time coaching Dundee University's Women Football Club.
A bright morning in Monifieth has helped bring out the crowds to watch the start of today's relay.
Local pipers are taking part in a special handover ceremony being held to mark the baton's arrival in Angus. Bruce Philip is the first baton bearer.
Today's route for the baton will see it travel from Monifieth to Montrose.
