    That's all from today's Queen's Baton Relay in Aberdeen.

    The baton took to the water not once, but twice today.

    Olympic champion Tim Baillie carried it on a canoe, then Colin Wallace took it for a jaunt on an offshore survival boat.

    Double Commonwealth gold medallist David Carry was the final baton bearer in Aberdeen. He won gold in the 400 metre freestyle and 400 metre individual medley swimming disciplines at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.

    Day 18 of the relay will see the baton travel round the Shetland Islands.

    Starting at Sumburgh Airport, it will head to Jarlshof, the archaeological site estimated to be around 4,500 years old. It will also visit Fraser Park in Scalloway, Delting Boating Club in Brae and the duo of the Shetland Museum and The Knab in Lerwick, where it is also set to travel by Viking Boat.

    The day ends at Clickimin Athletics Track.

    She has taken a year out from her Applied Sciences course to concentrate fully on this summer's games in Glasgow.

    Jim is a former small-bore rifle champion who competed at the Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games.

    He was Scottish and British short-range champion in 2002, and Scottish long-range champion in both 1998 and 2007.

    Jim is pictured at Aberdeen FC's ground with the club's vice-chairman George Yule, and is holding the Scottish League Cup as well as the Queen's baton.

    Aberdeen's Olympic gold medallist Tim Baillie described his experience as a baton bearer as "good, pretty surreal and quite novel".

    He added: "I'm not used to being chauffeured on a canoe - it's a huge honour."

    Asked if he wished canoeing featured in the Commonwealth Games, Tim said: "It's a funny one, I would like to compete for Team Scotland but in the real world there are not that many Commonwealth nations who compete in my sport."

    Becky is a member of the GB Pentathlon team, and has taken home medals at both the European and World Championships. According to those who nominated her, she is "a hard-working, enthusiastic and energetic young woman who always gives 110% to everything she does".

    Baton bearer 102, Lesley MacPherson, is carrying a baton baby - she is eight and a half months pregnant.

    BBC Producer Simon Dedman has tweeted, external this picture of some of Aberdeen's baton bearers.

    Group of baton bearers, some of whom are doing Mo Farah's 'mo-bot' while others are copying Usain Bolt's trademark point.

    He tweets: "Final pose from the #batonrelay bearers who ran down Aberdeen esplanade #bbcbatonrelay, external".

    By the look of things, it appears that six out of eight baton bearers prefer Usain Bolt to Mo Farah.

    Bill has supported grassroots sport in Aberdeen for all ages and abilities for decades. He is a judo 8th Dan, and his club helps those with disabilities who are keen on learning the sport.

    Bill was made an MBE in 2005 for his services to judo.
