    Paul Turner was the final baton bearer in Dunkeld and Birnam.

    The baton is now back on the bus and heading for Blairgowrie and Rattray.

    This morning we wondered which tartans were being worn by Aviemore baton bearers Rex Sircus (left) and Mike Dixon.

    Colleen is a well-known open water swimmer in Aberfeldy. According to Glasgow 2014, she has swam the English Channel and in 2011 she became the first person to swim across the Pentland Firth.

    Baton bearer Alastair has had a lifelong interest in sport, first playing football for Forfar before becoming involved in weightlifting.

    He went on to represent Scotland at the sport where he won titles at national levels before competing in three Commonwealth Championships. His passion for weights led to him setting up the Pitlochry Weightlifting Club in 1975.

    He continues to provide support to the local football team and weightlifting club.

    The 200m breaststroke is clearly Kirsty's cup of tea. She competed in the 2002 Manchester Commonwealth Games and again in 2006 when she claimed silver in Melbourne. Her medal haul also includes gold from the 2005 European and silver from the 2007 World Championships.

    Fourteen-year-old Megan ran the Race for Life only six months after major surgery, and raised a fabulous £835 for Cancer Research. She then went on be crowned her school's Intermediate Sports Champion.

    The baton contains a sealed, secret message written by the Queen. Her Majesty placed it inside the baton on 9 October last year at a ceremony at Buckingham Palace. Since then, the baton has been travelling around the Commonwealth.
