    Kenny Wilson had the honour of doing the "Grand Old Duke of York" in Aberlour this morning.

    Ruth Young has emailed in her support for two of today's baton bearers. She says:

    "Best wishes and good luck to the best Tenshinkan karate instructor John Young and to the rest of Team Scotland!

    "All the very best as the countdown to Glasgow 2014 continues.

    "Have a great day John Young and Molly Fowlie!

    "Love from Ruth, family & friends xxx"

    Molly will carry the baton when we arrive in Blair Atholl, while John takes a stint later on in Dunkeld and Birnam.

    We've had a fantastic turnout for the relay this morning.

    The main street in Aviemore was lined with people, two or three rows deep in places.

    Traditional Irish band perform at roadside behind a traffic cone.

    Inishowen Traditional Music Project entertained the waiting crowds.

    We're not sure if they danced an Irish jig round the traffic cone or not!

    The relay is back on the road now, heading 50 miles down the A9 to Blair Atholl.

    The convoy should arrive some time around 12:00 BST.

    Fifteen-year-old Taen Marriott-Jones was Aviemore's final baton bearer.

    She treated us to some martial arts moves, before passing under an archway of arms created by the police escort.

    This "Grand Old Duke of York"-style manoeuvre has become a bit of a relay tradition as it leaves a town.

    Margaret Nally, a volunteer at the 2006 Melbourne Games, has got in touch via email.

    She says: "It will be after midnight here in Australia when I hope to see young Helen Gloistein taking her place at Blairgowrie,

    "Am hoping that Murphy's Law does not affect the data connection at that time!

    "Have been watching nightly and loving the tour around Scotland from afar. Great scenery and coverage."

    The convoy has just arrived at the outskirts of Aviemore.

    If you're watching the video stream you'll have seen the blue-shirted police escorts limbering up. They run the equivalent of a half-marathon every day alongside the baton bearers.

    This young man was spotted in Rothes earlier, giving his support to baton bearers Andrew Cameron, Edith Holmes, Helen Mackie and Neal Anderson.

    BBC Weather's Philip Avery has the forecast if you're going to cheer on the baton bearers today.

    He says: "Dry at first, but much of the day will be wet and quite windy at times."
