    Connectivity Secretary Fergus Ewing says he has met with a number of the companies involved and the ambition is for everyone to have high broadband speed in Scotland.

    The duty lies with the companies, not the public sector, he says.

    The environment and climate change secretary says the Scottish government commissioned and energy modelling system to analyse how best to share the effort across sectors.

    Mr Burnett says Scotland will not eradicate fuel poverty by November 2016 and calls for an EPC rating in all properties.

    Ms Cunningham says the Warm Homes Bill will help to address this.

    Greenhouse gas emissions fell further in Scotland than the rest of the UK in 2014, according to the latest report from the Committee on Climate Change.

    This is the first year annual targets have been met, with net emissions falling by 13%.

    But the committee said the reductions were partly down to the relatively warm winter weather.

    The Scottish government said the report highlighted the "excellent progress" made in reducing greenhouse emissions.

    In May, the ferry operator Stena Line said it would crack down on illegal puppy dealers found to be using its Belfast to Cairnryan service.

    News of the move follows a BBC investigation which highlighted how the route was being used to traffic puppy-farmed dogs into Scotland.

    Britain's Puppy Dealers Exposed covertly-filmed handovers of puppies to a group of Scottish dog dealers.

    The animals had been sourced from a puppy farm in Northern Ireland.
