Tory MSP Douglas Ross asks whether the government is content with the way that it records crime.
Housing Minister Kevin Stewart says the government has no plans to regulate growth in short-term residential letting but realise that the potential to discuss the issue exists.

Employability Minister Jamie Hepburn says plans are in development to reduce youth unemployment.
Ms Wells says the government's own report highlighted that youth unemployment increased in the last year to 42,000.
Mr Hepburn says Annie Wells fails to mention that Scotland continues to outperform the UK in youth unemployment and employment rates.
Unemployment in Scotland rose by 11,000 between September and November 2016, according to official figures.
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) data shows that unemployment in Scotland now stands at 139,000.
The number of Scots in work over the period also fell by 14,000, a figure which is higher than the drop seen across the UK as a whole.
Scotland's unemployment rate now stands at 5.1%, while the UK rate is 4.8% - its lowest rate for more than 10 years.
Tory MSP Annie Wells asks whether the government will provide an update on how it is tackling youth unemployment.
SNP MSP Richard Lochhead asks what progress is being made in providing the Crown Estate with a social remit as part of the devolution arrangements.
Economy Secretary Keith Brown says the Scottish government have repeatedly made concerns known over the green investment bank and jobs since 2015.
Mr Brown says he shares the concern over jobs and he has received some reassurances from the UK government.
He says these assurances have been that headquarters should remain in Edinburgh along with 55 jobs.
The minister calls on the UK government to confirm who the preferred bidder is.
In February we reported that the environmental role of the Green Investment Bank, after it is privatised, is to be protected by a so-called "golden share".
UK Business Secretary Sajid Javid has conceded there should be a block on any move away from funding green projects.
Unusually, the government is setting up an independent company to control that veto power.
The move is designed to ensure that there is a clear break from any government controls.
SNP MSP Ash Denham asks what discussions the Scottish government has had with the UK government regarding reports of potential asset stripping when the Edinburgh-based Green Investment Bank is transferred to the private sector.
First up today ministers will face questions on tackling youth unemployment, welfare and recording crime, among others, during general question time.
