    Lib Dem MSP Mike Rumbles says before Scottish money is invested abroad, will the Scottish government check the companies pay taxes correctly and have a legal wage rate?

    The first minister says Scottish Enterprise carries out robust due diligence on these companies.

    She adds that these companies should pay the taxes they are due.

    In terms of the Living Wage, she says the Scottish government will continue to use all the levers it can.

    Scotland won a record number of investments from overseas in 2016, although growth was substantially lower than the previous year.

    There were 122 foreign direct investment deals done over the course of last year, up from 119 in 2015.

    The EY Scotland Attractiveness Survey showed Scotland was the second most popular part of the UK to invest in behind London.

    This is the fifth year in a row that the country has been in that position.

    The first minister says the 2017 EY Attractiveness Survey on inward investment said there were 122 projects successfully completed in Scotland in 2016.

    Ms Sturgeon says Scotland is the most attractive location of inward investment, outside of London.

    Police investigating the Manchester Arena bomb attack have stopped sharing information with the US after leaks to the media, the BBC understands.

    UK officials were outraged when photos appearing to show debris from the attack appeared in the New York Times.

    It came after the name of bomber Salman Abedi was leaked to US media just hours after the attack, which left 22 dead.

    Theresa May said she would tell Donald Trump at a Nato meeting that shared intelligence "must remain secure".

    The Queen is at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital visiting some of the injured as well as members of the emergency services.

    A key route into the UK for children caught up in Europe's migrant crisis is to close after a total of 350 arrivals.

    In a written ministerial statement, the Home Office said it would stop receiving children via the so-called Dubs amendment at the end of March.

    The law, designed by peer and former refugee Lord Dubs, aimed to help some of the estimated 90,000 unaccompanied migrant children across Europe.

    The peer has accused ministers of a "shameful" decision.

    At least 34 migrants, some of them young children, have drowned after falling into the sea off the Libyan coast, Italy's coastguard says.

    The overcrowded boat was carrying about 500 migrants when it suddenly listed, sending about 200 people into the water, a spokesman said.

    It triggered a frantic operation to search for survivors.

    The central Mediterranean route for illegal migration to Europe is currently the busiest.

    More than 50,000 migrants have reached Italy this year.

    She says the only person responsible for the Manchester attack was the suicide bomber.

    The first minister says there is a lot of injustice in the world and "we all have a role in trying to address that injustice".

    Ms Sturgeon says we can do that by offfering a hand of friendship to those fleeing countries where the conditions are unimaginable.

    She says the UK government could do more and calls for the Dubs amendment to be respected.
