    Good morning and welcome to Holyrood Live on Wednesday 5 December 2018.

    First up this morning, the education committee continues its inquiry into music tuition in schools, taking evidence from COSLA and then Education Secretary John Swinney.

    After lunch, education and skills ministers face portfolio questions.

    Then the afternoon will be dominated by a debate on the Brexit agreement, as negotiated by Prime Minister Theresa May.

    Four of the five parties will unite to vote against this agreement and a no-deal Brexit.

    Wrapping up the day is a member's debate on conscientious objectors, led by Green MSP Alison Johnstone.
