It's a mainly dry start across the region, with any early mist soon clearing to sunny spells.
There will be one or two showers to start the day in Dumfries and Galloway, and an odd one will break out this afternoon, but most places will stay dry.
Cloud will build through the morning in the Borders to bring a scattering of afternoon showers, the odd one heavy.
Temperatures will reach 18 Celsius in the best of the sunshine. It'll become breezy along the Galloway and Berwickshire coasts as the day goes on, with a fresh north-westerly wind setting in.
