    Plaid Cymru's Neil McEvoy responds to Mark Drakeford claims

    Speaking on BBC Radio Wales, South Wales Central Plaid AM Neil McEvoy responds to claims by health minister Mark Drakeford that he fought a "particularly nasty" campaign:

    "I think Mark needs to grow up a bit.

    “What we did was nail him on his record of misleading people in 2012 over the greenfield site developments that his party had planned. 

    "I listened to GPs and I criticised him on his management of the NHS."

    After holding in South Wales Central, Andrew RT Davies said: "I am proud that we have fought a positive and engaging campaign, with excellent candidates across the country. 

    "In this new era of five-party politics, we have strengthened winning positions in many held seats.

    "Obviously, we are disappointed to lose some regional list seats in this election and I pay tribute to those outgoing members who have represented their areas with distinction and pride."

    However, he said the party had shown "clear momentum".
