    This is the first time Zimbabwe’s military has been deployed in the capital, Harare, since long-serving ruler Robert Mugabe was ousted in November, the Associated Press news agency is reporting.

    “Those same tankers ‘we’ celebrated last year in November are being used against us,” one shocked Zimbabwean told AP.

    One man has been shot dead after Zimbabwean troops opened fire in central Harare, AFP news agency quotes its photographer as saying.

    The man died at the scene after being shot in the stomach, it adds.

    This is the first report of a death since clashes broke out between security forces and opposition supporters, following Monday's disputed elections.
