His Royal Highness the Earl of Wessex, Prince Edward, visits Jersey today, following his trip to Guernsey and Alderney yesterday.

What can we expect from his visit?

HRH is in the Channel Islands as part of a nationwide tour celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Duke of Edinburgh's (DofE) Award scheme.

Much of the visit is centred around meeting young islanders taking part in the award, including many doing a special Diamond Challenge.

People came out in their droves for HRH visit to Guernsey and Alderney, so we can probably expect the same warm reception here in Jersey.
