A Royal Air Force plane has been doing training flights over the islands this afternoon.
After spending some time over Jersey it has been seen over Guernsey's west coast, but is now heading back to the UK.

If you want to take part in the Vale by-election, you've got until 20:00 to get to a polling station and make your vote.
Polling stations are set up at the Scout Headquarters at Rue Maingy, and the Vale Douzaine Room in Maraitaine Road.

A retiring Jersey organic farmer says the lack of support for organic production in Jersey is abysmal.
Brian Adair has been in the business for 30 years, and says there has never been any real backing from the States for what he or other organic growers have tried to achieve.
He'd like to see members get behind the concept of producing food safely and without harmful chemicals.

Jersey's Department for Infrastructure say the island's "car2cycle" scheme - which subsidises the cost of purchasing an electric bike - is having a "positive effect" on healthy living and reducing car usage.
In a survey of people who have used the scheme, the majority have replaced their car or van with an e-bike in order to become more active.

The wreck of a German U-boat that sank almost 100 years ago has been discovered by engineers in Scotland using the same technology that Ports of Jersey has just purchased.
A multibeam echo sounder is a piece of maritime equipment that carries out detailed and accurate hydrographic surveys of the seabed.
As part of its Port Marine Safety Code agreement, Ports of Jersey is required to regularly monitor the seabed to ensure it is suitable for large vessels to use safely.

French nationals who left the Bailiwick to fight for their country during World War One are being remembered today.
It's thought around 240 Frenchmen living in Guernsey were called to serve on the Western Front and at least four fell at the Battle of Verdun.
