  6. Youth chair 'disappointed' at youth turnoutpublished at 12:28 British Summer Time 17 April 2018

    BBC Radio Guernsey

The chair of the Guernsey youth forum was "slightly disappointed" by the lack of young people at a meeting to discuss campaign groups for the referendum in October.

A short presentation was given to about 30 people - half of them deputies - on how potential campaigns for the island wide voting referendum would be assessed, financed and scrutinised.

Tabatha Carr says young people should engage with the island wide voting referendum as they have "so much to add, different opinions on voting in the island".

People will be able to choose between five options for reform of the Guernsey election process in the island's first referendum on 10 October.
