A group opposed to a substantial housing development at Pointes Rocques in St Sampson is urging people to consider writing an objection to the planning authority, as the original submissions are now invalid.
The developers, who want to build homes and flats on the old vinery site, have already altered their plans to provide improved vehicle access.
BBCCopyright: BBC
Plans were originally filed in 2017 proposing that the unused St Clair Vinery be converted into 83 dwellings.
That was met with backlash, followed by a protest march, as residents felt it could have a negative affect on the area due to increased traffic congestion, as well as an overriding feeling that development was only ever taking place in the north of the island.
Plans were resubmitted providing two access points but now, the Delancey Conservation Committee has issued a call to arms, as the original submissions against the development have expired.
It's sending out flyers urging anyone who is against the development to resubmit their objections by 2 November.

Kieran Mahon was sent off in the 17th minute, meaning the Green Lions had to play for more than 80 minutes with 10 men.
Carlos Canha scored his first goal for the club to make the score 1-0, before Matt Loaring doubled the hosts lead with a calmly finished one-on-one.
Frank Tobin then brought down Andrew Dalhouse in the box to concede a penalty, but Guernsey's star goalkeeper Callum Stanton got down low to his right and parried it out of danger.
Shortly before half-time, Charlton Gauvain - quickly becoming Guernsey's most valuable prospect - scored an incredible solo effort, running from his own half - beating several players for pace - before slotting a left-footed shot into the top corner.
Haywards Heath got a goal back five minutes into the second half, before winning another penalty for a Guernsey handball.
This time Stanton dived left, and once again kept the visitors at bay.
