Kylie Minogue releases her 11th album this summer

Kylie Minogue has announced details of her forthcoming 11th studio album.

The Australian singer will release a new single, All The Lovers, on 28 June.

That will be followed by a full-length album on 5 July, entitled Aphrodite.

It's the first time fans will hear new music from the singer since her 2007 album X.

Executively produced by Stuart Price, a number of other artists have contributed their writing skills to the album, including Calvin Harris, Jake Shears, Nerina Pallot and Keane's Tim Rice-Oxley.

In a statament Kylie said: "The single was one of the last tracks to be written for the album. As I was recording it I knew that All The Lovers had to be the first single; it sums up the euphoria of the album perfectly. It gives me goose-bumps, so I'm really excited to hear what everyone thinks of it."

Speaking to Newsbeat in February Kylie said: "You'll put your make-up on to this album, and that's not just the girls."
