Eclipse fans 'gutted' Robert Pattinson not at UK premiere

Twilight fans in London's Leicester Square

The UK premiere of the third Twilight film Eclipse takes place in London's Leicester Square tonight (1 July) but the three main actors Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart aren't going to be attending.

Members of the Cullen family of vampires and werewolves will be there.

Fans have been camping out to get a good spot but what's the mood like in the Twilight camp about the missing stars?

Louisa Osbourne is from Brighton: 'I feel Robbed'

"I've come with a group of 18 fans.

"I'm wearing this vest because I feel robbed he (Robert Pattinson) is not here.

"We decided we were still going to come and support them because we love Twilight.

"I was devastated, gutted and heartbroken when I found out he wasn't going to be here.

"There was anger because Rob's home-grown.

"He's British but we understand he's working in LA."

Tanya Malone, 13, lives in London: 'I don't mind'

"I've been here since 10 o'clock last night.

"We slept here. It was actually quite fun. I loved it.

"I don't mind the main characters aren't coming as my favourite actress is still coming.

"I'm Team Alice, I love Alice and I love Ashley Greene who plays her.

"There's always another time - there's Breaking Dawn. They may come for that."

Rebecca, 21, is from the Isle of Wight: 'A bit disappointed'

"I'm a bit disappointed that Rob, Kristen and Taylor can't be here but the rest will definitely get a good welcome.

"We got here at eight last night.

"It's been a little bit tough. The concrete wasn't that comfortable. I think we had about half an hour of sleep.

"It's definitely worth it though. We get to see the characters.

"It's just so excited to be here. My stomach is just flipping inside, I'm that excited."
