Kasabian say new album is punk

Tom Meighan and Serge Pizzorno say the new Kasabian album will have a punk feel thanks to Serge's new son.
The guitarist became a dad for the first time back in August.
The band were at the Q awards and picked up the Best Act In The World Today award. They are expected to release their third album next year.
Singer Tom said the new album has been influenced by "dinosaurs" and is "quite the opposite of what they had initially thought it would be."
He also said their new sound is: "aggressive as you like"
Serge did reveal fatherhood has not softened him.
"Funnily enough it actually fits in really well. In the oddest of ways.
"Things get done and I'm sort of working and he's there. Bang... and it's all sort of flying. I was quite blown away by that.
"I thought, God. I don't know what's going to happen. But turns out, he's been a little sort of mascot. He's been helping me out."
So can fans expect to hear a lullaby or two on the next record?
"No that's the thing. I thought it could go like Lennon and lullaby. Turns out its all fast punk songs, screaming and shouting."
