Rebecca Ferguson from The X Factor says Adele has written her a letter saying how much she likes her voice.
The 24-year-old mum of two, who's made it through to the semi-finals, is one of the favourites to win this year's series.
She said: "Adele actually wrote me a letter. It was such a surprise and I felt very privileged.
"I'm a big fan of her music and it's a good feeling to have such a talented person say they like my voice."
The Liverpool singer also revealed that several UK artists may like to work with her after the programme has finished.
"Paloma Faith has said she would be interested in working with me," she said. "I also heard a rumour that Amy Winehouse would like to write a song for me.
"They are both such amazing artists, I feel really flattered."
Rebecca Ferguson made it through to next Saturday's semi-finals (4 December) with Mary Byrne, Matt Cardle, Cher Lloyd and One Direction.
Katie Waissel was voted out at the weekend and Wagner Carrilho lost a sing off with Mary in a double eviction.
The final takes place the following week on 11 and 12 December.
