JLS announce UK arena tour with 12 dates next spring

JLS have announced a string of concerts across the UK starting in spring 2012.

The 4th Dimensions tour will take in 12 venues in England, Scotland and Wales.

The X Factor boy band start the dates in Liverpool on 13 March and end in Glasgow on 4 April also taking in cities including London, Cardiff and Manchester.

Tickets for the concerts go on general sale next Friday, 9 September, at 9am. The group released a 3D film of their last tour which took place last year.

JLS, which stands for Jack the Lad Swing, managed to start their dates with a gig in Aberdeen despite heavy snow in November.

Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, Oritsé Williams and JB Gill finished in second place in the fifth series of The X Factor in 2008.

They've had five number one singles and release their third album this year.

They won two Brit awards last year for British single (Beat Again) and British breakthrough.
