Rihanna to appear on Coldplay album Mylo Xyloto

Rihanna is to appear on Coldplay's new album Mylo Xyloto.

Coldplay have confirmed that Rihanna has contributed vocals to a track set to appear on their forthcoming new album.

The singer appears on a song called Princess Of China included on their new release Mylo Xyloto.

Chris Martin and co have also revealed the full track listing for the album which will be released on 24 October.

It's produced by long time collaborators Marcus Dravs and Brian Eno.

The record is the follow-up to 2008's Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends, which sold nine million copies worldwide.

The first single from Mylo Xyloto, Every Tear Drop Is A Waterfall charted at number six in the UK.

The group had a busy summer headlining the Glastonbury and T In The Park festivals.
