Two Door Cinema Club cancel Latitude headline slot

Two Door Cinema Club have been forced to pull out of their first UK headline slot due to illness.
Lily Allen will now replace the Irish indie band at Latitude Festival at Henham Park in Suffolk on Friday.
Frontman Alex Trimble collapsed at Seattle airport on the way to London and is now in hospital with a chronic stomach complaint.
"We are devastated to have to cancel shows that we were so looking forward to," they said in a statement.
"We can only apologise and hope for your understanding at this time. Love TDCC x "
The trio were also due to play Bournemouth Academy tomorrow night but have cancelled that show as well.
Fresh from her Radio 1 Live Lounge appearance, Lily Allen will make her Latitude debut.
"So sorry to hear about Alex from Two Door Cinema Club," she said in a statement.
"However I am more than happy to step in.
"I've never been to Latitude but I hear it's fabulous and I can't wait to get my heels on for some serious dancing action on Friday evening - so, so excited."
Two Door Cinema Club were one of the first names to be announced on the line-up for Latitude Festival.
It would have been their first UK headline slot and earlier this year they told the BBC they were really looking forward to it.
"We're ready to headline, we're ready to smash it." Bassist Kevin Baird said.
The Irish trio have released two albums, with last year's Beacon reaching number two in the UK charts.
"Over the past five years we've made the progression from playing in the small tents to being close to the top of the bill on the main stage," Baird said.
"Headlining a great festival like Latitude is obviously quite a big deal for us but we also feel like it is the next natural step."
The Black Keys and Damon Albarn are the other two headliners.
