Dundee will be frustrated they did not hold on for a win having scored a brilliant goal late on through Robinson and having played some neat football. Cameron was outstanding in the middle of the pitch alongside McCowan and Malachi Boateng.
Beck is having a wonderful season on loan from Liverpool and was excellent again. It's still just one defeat in nine for Dundee so there is plenty to be pleased about for Docherty and the club's fans.

Despite narrow defeat to Hibs last time out, Joe Shaughnessy says Dundee are showing they can get results in a competitive Scottish Premiership.
The Dark Blues slipped to fifth after that loss, but are still just three points from the top four after a strong start to their top-flight return.
"It's probably surprised people from outside the club but we’ve got a good set of players and we know we have the ability to get results," the Dundee captain said.
"Hopefully now we feel like we belong in this league and we can get results against all the teams.
"We just want to keep picking up results, trying to keep putting points on the board, we're not even half-way through the season and we’ve got a tough run of games coming up.
"We've got three games in a row away from home, so it’s important to get a positive result this weekend."

Motherwell are unbeaten in six top-flight home games against Dundee (W4 D2) since a 3-2 loss in April 2017.
Dundee are unbeaten in three Scottish Premiership meetings with Motherwell (W1 D2), having lost seven in a row prior to this.
After going unbeaten in their first four league matches of the season (W3 D1), Motherwell have since failed to win any of their last 10 (D3 L7), which is the longest current winless run in the division.
Dundee put an end to their 10-match winless run on the road in the top-flight last time out with a 2-0 win at Livingston. They are looking to win consecutive away matches in the Premiership for the first time since January 2018.
No side has conceded more goals in the Scottish Premiership than Motherwell this season (22), while only Ross County (208) have faced more shots (205).

Tony Docherty says Dundee will be ready for the "difficult task" of Motherwell away.
The Steelmen come into the game off the back of a battling draw at Celtic Park, while the Dee's strong run of form came to an end in a narrow 2-1 defeat to Hibs.
"We analysed it as we always do and we felt that it was a strong enough performance to take something from the game," Docherty said.
"Yes, it was a defeat but the performance was positive. In terms of shots on goal, possession and general play, I thought it was a really strong performance.
"If we maintain that level of performance then results will come off the back of that.
"There were some things we did that we could do better but normally that level of performance wins you a game. We’re not knocked by that."
Despite no wins in their last 10 games, Motherwell will take encouragement from their showing against Brendan Rodgers' side.
"Motherwell is a difficult task, particularly away from home," Docherty admits. "But we’ve had a good weeks training and we’ll be ready for it and hopefully but in a performance that will merit getting three points.
"It’s a difficult venue, they’ll play their normal style, they’re a good side. I like Stuart, he’s got a good way of working.
"They will be buoyed by the result and the performance against Celtic but we’re very motivated ourselves in trying to go down there and pick up maximum points if we put in the level of performance we’re capable of."
'Stern tests await Dundee on the road' published at 10:56 29 November 2023

As the Premiership’s new boys this season, it was expected to be a campaign of highs and lows for Dundee.
To date, it has been one mostly of highs, one in which Tony Docherty’s side have passed most of the examinations they have faced with flying colours.
But a case could be made that the trio of games coming up could present them with the sternest of tests so far.
Why? Well, because the matches with Motherwell, Rangers and Ross County are all on the road.
While they have turned Dens Park in to a place teams don’t fancy coming, away from home they have found wins hard to come by, having picked up a victory just once in their five trips so far.
However, a 3-0 defeat at Celtic to one side, they have still proved very awkward opposition on their outings away from Dens.
And Docherty will know that if his team can amass a reasonable amount of points from the next nine on offer, then they will be very well placed to kick on when they return to home comforts against Aberdeen on 23 December.
