President Obama hails 'enduring bonds' at state banquet

US President Barack Obama has attended a state banquet at Buckingham Palace, where he gave a speech honouring the "enduring bonds" between the US and UK.

The president also thanked the UK for its support and "solidarity" in the fight against terrorism and paid tribute to the UK's military forces for "standing shoulder to shoulder with the US for decades".
