Academy for organists in Halifax aims to boost numbers

An organ academy has opened in Yorkshire to train a new generation of musicians.

People are being trained up to make up for a shortfall in organists in parish churches.

It is thought half of all churches have no-one to call on to provide a musical accompaniment to services.
