Hopes of Spitfire discovery in Burma

Thirty six Spitfires apparently buried by allied troops at the end of World War II may have been found in Burma.

Aviation enthusiasts, who have been searching for the aircraft for over 15 years, are planning an expedition to try and excavate them.

Dr Adam Booth, a geophysicist at Imperial College London, says the site is worth investigating and if the planes are found, they will return to the UK and fly again.
