Generation 2015 profiles: Rachel Ward
I am 21 and live in Newcastle upon Tyne. I am working as a health care assistant in the local hospitals in Newcastle before going to the University of East Anglia in in September to study medicine.
I volunteer for my Local Healthwatch and NHS England, where we discuss local healthcare needs for young people, and with Young Minds as a mental health campaigner.
I am a supporter of making sex and relationship education compulsory in all schools, alongside drastically improving the quality of PSHE lessons. I believe schools have the right to prepare children and young people for all aspects of life.
