Sir David Amess stabbing: Paramedics and police on scene

The Conservative MP Sir David Amess has been attacked in his Southend West constituency.

Two local councillors said he was stabbed several times during his MP's surgery in Leigh-on-Sea in Essex just after midday, and was treated at the scene.
