Starmer: Government's Rwanda immigration plans are unethical

Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has supported the Archbishop of Canterbury and former prime minister Theresa May's criticism of the government's Rwanda immigration plans.

Under the government's plans, migrants who arrive in the UK illegally could be sent to Africa.

Appearing on the BBC's Sunday Morning news programme, Mr Starmer also accused the government of using the scheme as a distraction from the cost of living crisis in the UK.
