Priti Patel sets out case to tackle illegal immigration with Rwanda plan
The UK government has done “more than any other” in recent history to help people fleeing persecution, conflict and instability the home secretary has said
But Priti Patel said it needed to tackle illegal migration where people smugglers profited from human misery.
She was giving a statement in Parliament about the plan to process asylum seekers in Rwanda.
