A couple who scooped more than £180,000 on the Lottery have said their horoscope predicted the win.
Lynne and John Pittiglio's horoscope read that something would happen on Friday which would have a "big impact".
They bought their usual four lines on Saturday in Washington, Tyne and Wear, and then discovered they had matched five numbers and the bonus ball.
They have now cancelled plans to remortgage to raise cash to revamp their home in Washington.
The couple, who have three children David, 33, Maria, 29, and Sam, 27, are planning to take their whole family on holiday to Portugal and buy a new car.
Mrs Pittiglio, a slimming consultant, and her 57-year-old husband, a metal worker, were babysitting their two grandsons during the Saturday, 21 September draw and did not check their numbers until the next day.
'Mortgage-free'
She said: "On Sunday morning, John said to me 'I think we've won something' to which I replied, 'it'll be a tenner' and he said 'I think it's a bit more than that'.
"Only last week I was reading my horoscope and it said that something I did on Friday would have a positive effect on my weekend."
The couple bought their ticket from a kiosk at the Galleries in Washington.
Mrs Pittiglio added: "The win has taken all financial pressures off and means we can now live more relaxed, happier lives.
"We received the paperwork on Saturday from our solicitors regarding the remortgaging so that we could carry out improvements.
"We were going to sign and return on Monday, but now we don't need to and can remain mortgage-free."
The numbers in the draw, external were 11, 15, 36, 37, 38 and 45. The bonus ball was 9.
