The funeral has taken place of Jayden Parkinson, the teenager whose body was found in a disturbed grave in Oxfordshire.

About 200 friends and family attended the service at St Martin's Church in Cheriton, near her former hometown of Folkestone in Kent.

The 17-year-old was discovered in Great Western Cemetery, next to All Saints Church in Didcot, on 18 December.

Her ex-boyfriend, Ben Blakeley, 22, of Reading, was charged with her murder.

Last month, students from Didcot Girls' School, where Jayden was a pupil, sang and released white balloons during a memorial service at All Saints, in Lydalls Road.

Mr Blakeley, of Christchurch Road, and a 17-year-old boy from Didcot have also been charged with perverting the course of justice.

The teenager is accused of assisting in the disposal of Jayden's body and other evidence.
