A man has been charged over a video shared on social media containing indecent images of two children.
Police "across England" alerted Hampshire Constabulary to the footage, the force said on Tuesday.
Two Hampshire children have been identified and spoken to. Their family is being supported.
Daniel Norton, 25, from Cheadle, Stockport, has been charged with inciting a girl aged 13-15 to engage in sexual activity.
He also faces three counts of making indecent photographs of a child and one count of distributing an indecent image of a child and is due before Southampton magistrates.
The images had been shared on various media platforms including Snapchat, Instagram, WhatsApp and YouTube.
Police in Northamptonshire, Brighton and Bristol all raised concerns about the video, describing it as "distressing" and "disturbing".
Parents were urged to check their children's phones as it had been widely circulated.
Instagram said it had removed the content and its team was searching for and removing any other copies.
