Milton Keynes underpass attack victim named

A man who died after being attacked in an underpass has been identified.

John Davies, 34, from Glebe Farm in Milton Keynes, died in hospital three days after the incident in Wavendon Gate on 23 October.

A Home Office post-mortem examination listed the preliminary cause of death as blunt force trauma to the head.

Wesley Atick, 25, of Buxton Close in the city, has previously been charged with attempted murder and is due back in court on 4 December.

A 27-year-old woman from Milton Keynes was also arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and has been bailed until 26 January.
