Trains between Northampton and London halted due to overhead line problems

An overhead line problem between Milton Keynes and Watford has brought trains to a standstill

Services have been suspended until further notice, external on part of the rail network because of an overhead line problem.

Trains are not running between Northampton and London Euston.

London Northwestern say power is now back on but one train is still stranded between stations.

Replacement buses are being provided between Watford and Northampton and the disruption is expected to last until the end of the day.
