Police investigating violence that broke out outside a Birmingham nightclub have released images of six men they want to trace.

One man was knocked unconscious during fighting outside Gatecrasher in Broad Street on 29 September.

Three police officers suffered minor injuries when they were pelted with bottles, bricks and traffic cones.

Five men, aged between 19 and 25, who were arrested remain on bail pending further inquiries, police said.

Det Ch Insp Tom Chisholm said it was a "serious disorder that involved large crowds of people" who were in Broad Street at about 04:00 GMT.

He said: "We have trawled hours of CCTV to identify people that we think played a part in the violence. We are releasing these images and asking the public to help identify them."
