Could an electronic device save deer and drivers?

For the first time in the UK, electronic devices are being placed in Staffordshire woodland to help reduce the number of deer being killed every year.

Rangers are installing them on the A513 through Cannock Chase, one of the worst for collisions with deer.

They work by emitting sound and light when cars pass by to discourage deer from crossing.

Its hoped the devices will also make the roads safer for motorists.
