Kevin Threlfall donates £100k to New Cross Hospital

A former director of Wolves football club has donated £100,000 to the hospital that saved his life.

Kevin Threlfall, a businessman from Wolverhampton, suffered a heart attack in 2014 while playing golf.

He was taken to New Cross Hospital and fitted with a pacemaker, and said the care he had received had been "phenomenal".

The hospital will spend the money on specialist equipment and research into heart disease.
