Bristol's mental health care providers announced

The winning bidders to take on the care of mentally ill people across Bristol have been announced.

Mental Health Bristol, a partnership of 10 organisations, has been appointed to take over from the Avon and Wiltshire Mental (AWP) Health Partnership.

AWP which is part of Mental Health Bristol will still run parts of the service under the new contract.

Bristol Dementia Partnership, Richmond Fellowship and St Mungo's Broadway are also taking on parts of the service.
