  1. Celebrity Traitors series ends with one dramatic finalepublished at 22:55 GMT 6 November

    Alex Smith
Live editor, one of the 'two big-dogs'

    Wow, what a finale!

I'm still reeling from that ending - and the worst part? My partner hasn't watched the episode yet, so I'll have to keep my knowledge of the drama to myself for now.

I think it's probably worth another watch anyway.

We're ending our live coverage now, but if you've not got your Celebrity Traitors fix just yet, you can read more in this story from my colleague Noor Nanji.

  2. A real moment for the TV history bookspublished at 22:50 GMT 6 November

    Emma Bullimore
TV commentator, and in Joe's gang of 'Hundies'

Wow, what a night - the finale didn't disappoint.

I didn't think anything would ever top Mollie's change of heart over Harry, but Alan's win was a real moment for the telly history books.

This celebrity series has proved once again that telly can unite us, make us laugh, create genuine suspense and bring pure joy to our evenings - all you need is a few national treasures, some daft challenges and a lot of whispering in corridors.

And for Nick to make a huge mistake in dramatic style (he'll never live that down).

Well done Team Traitors, I'm counting down the days till the civilian series (which should only be a couple of months away, tbc).

  3. At the end of the day, it's just a game...published at 22:47 GMT 6 November

    Alexander banner

So so close for this series' faithful.

I loved the way that all the finalists came back together, even supporting Alan who's betrayed them all along.

Not to mention Joe Marler, who was even betrayed by his fellow faithful.

That's the beauty of it. It's just a game, but it feels so much more than that when you're in it.

  4. What it was like watching with a former finalistpublished at 22:46 GMT 6 November

    Adam Goldsmith
Live reporter, and a definite faithful

It was quite a surreal experience to take in the Celebrity Traitors final alongside a man who nearly made it all the way himself.

Alexander Dragonetti was wrapped in emotion throughout, and there was no shortage of "NO!"s as the faithfuls' strategies backfired and they failed to get the win over the line.

What really came through was the love former contestants still hold for the game, despite the arguments and occasional tears.

  5. Absolutely brilliant... The best show on TVpublished at 22:42 GMT 6 November

    Minah from the Traitors

WOW Celebrity Traitors has had more twists and turns than I could have ever imagined.

The big dog theory, Celia farting during a mission, Tom Daley & Kate Garraway bringing back FLABBERGASTED!

And that final episode, just pure magic!!

Absolutely brilliant TV. The best show on TV.

  6. 'Please can we get a Nick and Joe show of some description'published at 22:40 GMT 6 November

Your Voice, Your BBC News banner

As soon as they turned on Joe, I wanted Alan to win. I expected David to get it wrong (as he has all season) but Nick? Great TV. Well done Alan Carr.

    Seb

Nick was the REAL traitor, because...he let Joe down. Alan should have never won.

    Peter

Please, please, please can we get a Nick and Joe show of some description.

    Rhys

  7. Celebs give their first takes after watching the finalpublished at 22:36 GMT 6 November

    Elliot Burrin
    Live reporter, overwhelmed faithful

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, isn't it? Now the contestants can gloat about the theories that never caught wind.

"I think I worked it out on day one," Joe says - quite boldly. But his voting patterns suggest he didn't even convince himself, let alone the others.

Maybe not for Nick, who didn't vote for Alan even though he'd suspected him going into the round table.

"I don't know what I was thinking," Nick laughs.

For Kate, nothing's changed. "I'm genuinely flabbergasted!" using what has surely now become her catchphrase.

  8. 'Wow. What an ending. Loved every second of it.'published at 22:23 GMT 6 November

Your Voice, Your BBC News banner

Absolutely brilliant from Alan Carr. Really well played to come through two murders in plain sight and not get rumbled. Utterly brilliant. For me it had to be him or Joe after the games they played. Fabulous charity too.

    Janet

How on earth did Alan Carr win?

    Jasmine

Wow. What an ending. Loved every second of it.

    Jasmine S.

  9. Screams from the celebs as they watch THAT final scenepublished at 22:20 GMT 6 November

    Elliot Burrin
    Live reporter, overwhelmed faithful

If you've already switched to Uncloaked - the Celebrity Traitors' companion show - we're watching all the contestants reacting to THAT final scene.

Screams of outrage - and joy from one certain banished traitor - and a stunned silence when the game ends.

The contestants are very emotional, rightly so, but all stand for one final applause.

  10. Finally, I can relaxpublished at 22:19 GMT 6 November

    Minah from the Traitors

    Right, Uncloaked.

My Traitors fix that doesn’t make me want to vomit or have a panic attack.

  11. Time for all the reaction on Uncloakedpublished at 22:17 GMT 6 November

    Emma Bullimore
TV commentator, and in Joe's gang of 'Hundies'

Everyone turn over to BBC2 for spin-off show Uncloaked - Claudia is about to dissect it all.

You can also watch live above.

  12. A cracker of a way to end the seriespublished at 22:12 GMT 6 November

    Alex Smith
Live editor, one of the 'two big-dogs'

"To me, the most hated man in Britain," Alan giggles as he raises a toast at the end of the episode.

    Wow, what a finale!

I need a break to unpack all that - but no stop for us, Uncloaked is up next.

  13. 'I was awful at lying, and here I am... the winner'published at 22:12 GMT 6 November

    Rachel Flynn
Live reporter, probably a nervous faithful

"You've won it!" Claudia tells Alan he's won £87,500 for his chosen children's cancer charity.

"All that lying, all that treachery, it was worth it wasn't it? Alan laughs through his tears.

"I was awful at lying, I had no poker face, and here I am, the winner," he says.

  14. Postpublished at 22:10 GMT 6 November

    Emma Bullimore
TV commentator, and in Joe's gang of 'Hundies'

Fireworks, bubbles and a liberated Alan, that's a party I want to be at.

  15. And the cackle. Fabulouspublished at 22:09 GMT 6 November

    Emma Bullimore
TV commentator, and in Joe's gang of 'Hundies'

A hug between Nick and Joe and we can sleep tonight.

  16. Alan Carr absolutely smashed itpublished at 22:08 GMT 6 November

    Minah from the Traitors

WOW his charity will be so so proud of him!

  17. Tears from the winner at the roundtablepublished at 22:08 GMT 6 November

    Elliot Burrin
    Live reporter, overwhelmed faithful

"Think about the charity," says Nick as Alan bursts into tears, having just won the prize pot.

As Nick has, and always has had, the biggest heart in the show.

    I can't believe this.

  18. Faithfuls' premature smiles before Alan sealed their fatepublished at 22:07 GMT 6 November

    Alexander

I just did not expect that.

I love the game Nick played, but what was he doing?

The smile on David and Nick's faces was very premature before Alan revealed the truth.

How are they hugging the traitor?!

In a way, he's played it so well that he's even earned the sympathy of his fellow players!

  19. Awwww Alanpublished at 22:07 GMT 6 November

    Minah from the Traitors

    Why am I crying?
