A narrow section of the Bristol and Bath cycle route will be widened as part of £80,000 improvements.

The works involve doubling the width of the narrowest section from two metres to four metres.

A diversion has been set up taking riders around Lawrence Hill industrial estate before rejoining the path.

The railway path is expected to remain closed for about 10 weeks while the work is carried out.
