A woman accused of killing a man in Bristol has been found dead in prison.
Michaela Sweeting, 38, of William Street, Totterdown, was arrested last month after a man was attacked in the city centre.
Robert Hines, 56, from Horfield, died following the assault in Quaker Memorial Garden off Redcliff Hill on 24 May.
Ms Sweeting's death at Eastwood Park Prison, in Gloucestershire, is not being treated as suspicious.
A Prison Service spokesperson said Ms Sweeting was found unresponsive on the morning of 2 June.
"Staff tried to resuscitate her and an ambulance was called, but she was pronounced dead at approximately 07:43.
"As with all deaths in custody there will be an investigation by the independent Prisons and Probation Ombudsman."
As part of the investigation into the death of Mr Hines Avon and Somerset Police have also released CCTV images of two men who they believe may have information about the assault.
A 31-year-old man, Matthew James Hill, is also charged with manslaughter in relation to the death of Mr Hines.
